Apartment building Galileo by Pascal Arquitectos

Polanco residential building in which searches through the facade to provide transparency and privacy in turn by combining different opacities of glass, wood and concrete. Externally there is a dialogue in contrast to the existing buildings in the area but at the same time marks a pattern of modernity that developed in the future and, inland, all areas are lit and ventilated naturally without exterior exposure. By combining these elements with the side walls and balconies in exposed concrete, break and emphasize the same time the rigidity of the building volume. The rear facade follows the same design guidelines but with a different construction.

The main staircase is also the entrance hall on each level to the departments. Designed from the same intention of following insight to create the core of the building. The design of loose steps, railing and glass screen and the same sturdy concrete structure, allow passage of light and shadows by increasing the feeling of spaciousness.

The roof is used as a fifth facade and becomes common area which includes a pool and sun deck, sitting areas and a gym.
