Artificial island in Persian Gulf
The idea of building Cities at sea is usually justified by the problems encountered (increases land, high density, lack of space …) ‘inland’, but this time have been other reasons: to minimize the impact on the environment while serving as home self-governing society and independent.
We will not go into analyzing the political reasons why these cities might be interesting to build, you may have them, we are more interested to know their design, and even compared with other megastructures similar. This skyscraper is designed for the Persian Gulf (UAE), has the same height as the diameter of the base (1000 m) and would be equipped with spaces for homes, offices, academic, government, sports, … The large courtyard is connected to leisure and business, and on the cover we see a park with sports facilities, plus a large central dome.
