The Casadetodos is a project that stems from a custom single family house in the upper part of the myrtle, Santiago. The project is divided from the intention to explore unconventional structural potential, creating complex surfaces and ensure the views of the house towards the mountains.

The strategy consists of the structural arrangement of four axles consisting of metal frames. Each frame is designed as a single piece of architecture that varies according to program needs, creating ruled surfaces, from the interpolation between them.

It is then understood as a set of “components” that are repeated and varied for the project. These components attempt to express the structural strength to the maximum, leaving the view both inside and outside the home. They are inspired by bridges, aiming to get a structure vector slender structural evident in his effort. From that generate overhangs that give a lightness to the volume side suspended, and create a covered terrace below them.

All campuses of the house, except the service area, open onto the mountains. Since the orientation of the facade to the mountain’s south, the compounds are illuminated from the north with a patio and skylights in the rooms higher.

The north facade is completely blind, because it exposes the street is in an upper bound. To achieve a level of intimacy on the second floor, stands a double-curved surface that will serve as eye protection as part of the beach terrace on the roof of the house. In Casadetodos, are privileged places of entertainment where you can establish a direct relationship with nature, self-absorbed or dramatically open spaces towards the mountain.
