Casas de Chile views of Chilean architecture

Exposure 12 + E + 8 ³, “Casas de Chile” presents three views of Chilean architecture across different types of houses, all linked to social, economic and political. To this you were created three items, a selection of 12 homes that represent an overview of the country with works from north to south, Elementary and finally the project Ocho al Cubo.

As the place is a museum exhibition, our proposal should host a massive public and therefore not necessarily close to the field of architecture. To resolve this premise we decided to create a sequence of living spaces, divided into three rooms. In the first, volumetric models are 12 and outer structure demolition wood that contains the technical specifications of each project, plus a video with six pictures of different houses.

In the second room, presents “Eight to the cube” shown through a central volume, consisting of packing boxes and six videos of eighty seconds duration each, representing the paths of each house. Finally the project “Elemental” is comprised of eleven “X” wood with 3D glasses containing images of the projects.

The 12 homes on display are the following: Casa Reutter, Mathias Klotz, Gatica House by Felipe Assadi and Francisca Pulido, House on the Lake, Guillermo Acuña, Red House, Izquierdo Lehmann; House Duque, Rodrigo Duque Casa La Reserve Sebastian Irarrazaval, Pier House, Jonas Retamal, Wall House, FAR architects, housing complex Santa Clara, Oware Architects and Home Chile 1, Smiljan Radic, Wolf House, Mauricio Pezo von Ellrichshausen and House in Aconcagua of Germain Del Sol

Eight 6-cubed videos are works of Teodoro Fernandez, Jose Cruz, Cecilia Puga, Mathias Klotz, Sebastian Irarrazabal and Smiljan Radic.

The exhibition features projects Elemental Quinta Monroy, Lo Espejo, Antofagasta, Renca and Temuco.
