Completed in Portogruaro Pole strategic innovation

Inside Eastgate Park, the largest integrated logistics industrial park and crafts of the Northeast with 1.8 million square meters of East developed by Pirelli RE – Fund and implemented by ZH Industrial Area General Construction Company was built Polins, the Polo for strategic innovation, designed by Marco Acerbis. The new multipurpose building comes from a collaborative project between the City of Portogruaro extent Portogruaro University Campus (University Ca ‘Foscari, Venice), and aims to promote the development of new business models by integrating academia, the world of consulting and business.

The building is certified according to Class A + standard ClimateHouse and use environmentally sustainable materials such as wood fiber and renewable energy sources such as geothermal and solar.
This is a building that can inspire, and is not inserted at random in a large industrial park and logistics in the making, who wants to follow the strategies and values.

The large fir glulam arches with light 33 meters cover the entire volume welcoming visitors from outside and create hospitable spaces and scenic rich dynamism and lightness.

The prevailing south exposure can mitigate winter weather with a significant passive solar gain is rather low in the summer months due to the presence of sun with solar panels integrated.
Ventilated facades are covered with sheets of black porcelain that protection from the weather and allow the natural flow of air keeping the walls in good thermal conditions.

Inside are a number of offices and a conference room for 150 people, all organized in a linear fashion so as to simplify the use of the building at all times. The conference room has been studied in great detail to maximize the sound absorption of walls and ceilings and in particular for the latter were used anodized aluminum panels and perforated, being hollow inside, serve as wave absorbers sound.
