From Singapore, this exciting project designed by the office WOHAIn conjunction with Interactive Architects. Through a series of illuminated elements, arranged in a geometric pattern, use light and electricity as the source of life of their facades.

Generating this envelope that varies up to the client, the relationship with urban space becomes dynamic. The same architectural structure is able to deliver different qualities to public space and constantly turn the urban landscape of an area of ​​the city.

Ilum, located in the district of Bugis, an entertainment industry in Singapore, is an entertainment complex designed to appeal to a broad spectrum of society, both local and foreign residents, bringing the number of recreational activities state-of-the-art within a urban object memorable.

This large urban object energize the city with a facade composed of interactive media like jewelry, accessories that sparkle day and night. The undulating facades are stacked like overlapping strips and away to create gardens and terraces overlooking the view of the street. The envelope of the media will be a canvas for artists, becoming a medium to display their works, allowing developers and even the general public to light and sound interventions at the city.

The rectilinear design a mass contrasts against a curve. The block straight back home to major traditional components such as parking, retail anchor stores, cinema and performance spaces, while the curved front houses block local small-scale sales and entertainment activities along curvilinear paths to encourage shopping and entertainment experience.

The activities are zoned into three layers with each other courts: in the ground floor sales area overlooking a vibrant public space that attracts pedestrians in busy networks around the ground. Upstairs, a spacious interior is overflowing with themed restaurants, surrounded by cinemas and entertainment venues. The flexible performance space in the crown is covered with lush gardens, a unique entertainment experiences inside and outside tropical – Ibiza reaches Bali on the roofs of Singapore.
