The goal is to build something different in scale and speed of the entire city. Upon entering the Sukkah, you automatically slow down the speed and behavior and move to a rest position because of physical limitations that make the room. Like the Sukkah was established in one of the most densely populated places on earth and filled with built structures and stress atmosphere that changes the function of goals early protection from hot sun and sandy wind to shelter from the mass of buildings, infrastructure, scale and speed of movement constant. This concept is designed by visiondivision as their competition entries for ‘Sukkah City’, in which the designer / architect asked to design a modern Sukkah – a temporary hut made for the annual Jewish Harvest Festival – in Union Square, New York City. Called the ‘Hollow’ structure consists of an organic pavilion that changed the conditions for social interaction and behavior, use compression to hold the structure together.
