House in Water Tower

Lodging in the water tower (Watertower of Living) in the Netherlands from Zecco Architecten. After the reconstruction and adaptation, this water tower, built in 1931, turned into a vertical devyatiurovnevy house.

The need to preserve the appearance and configuration of the tower forced the architects to use in the design of interiors, industrial reasons, the lack of an elevator is offset by the magnificent views from the roof terrace.

The result is a classic example of “vertical construction”. Almost like a “Yemeni skyscrapers
