Rooftop Garden House by SsD Architects

Designed and built in pre-cool mode, this wood, glass and steel house features industrial-chic interior design, with contrasting warm natural woods cold steel and concrete details. The house is arranged in a series of layers with lofts, providing separate living room each privacy while keeping them all connected in the grand scheme of design. Big Dig House in Lexington, Massachusetts, designed by architect SSD, is a lesson in the practice of sustainable development with stunning results! This house comes from recycled steel and concrete rescued from Boston’s Big Dig, using more than £ 600,000 repurposed material from the high part of the highway I-93 demolished. Because of the high potential of ‘load-bearing, the architects incorporated an elaborate roof garden.
