Small exquisite furnishings by Nordic design
Swedese, a small but exquisite furnishings brand with over 50 years of good Scandinavian design on his back, brings a new collection of pieces signed by internationally renowned names such as Michael Young or himself Yngve Ekström, founder of the company. If you do not know this gem of Nordic design, I recommend you pay attention to their developments. For over 60 years, the ideals of Swedese have been the same: to make beautiful furniture for the future, designed by artists who share a timeless idea of architecture and built according to Scandinavian modern traditions. The company was founded in 1945 by brothers Yngve and Jerker Ekström, together with Sven Bertil Sjöqvis. Today, Swedese has two factories in Sweden, where it produces all its furniture.
Desirée, A chair designed in 1954 by Yngve Ekström Swedese founder has been reissued for return air of the ’50s. Made of white painted steel, includes an upholstered cushion on the seat. It also has a collection of oval tables to set, with over plywood. Desiree can be used indoors or outdoors.
