By the end of next year will be built in Rome a skyscraper of 120 meters. This is the Eurosky Tower, a residential tower designed by architect Frank Purini and promoted by the Roman Parsitalia Real Estate. The project was presented to the media Wednesday during the official inauguration of the yard, where already begun the work of the foundation.

The project is part of a broader intervention that involves the construction of a complex of buildings for residential, commercial and public, held in two different morphologic types: urban tower and the plate. The entire complex will be realized in the context of Europarc Castellaccio, behind the euro, and will be one of eighteen new “metropolitan centrality” provided in the General Plan of Rome in force since March 14, 2008.

Purini has developed the masterplan of the whole area as the project of one of the towers provided the second, to use as office, bears the signature of the study Transit. The plate will consist of shopping center Euroma and private buildings and public offices.

The skyscraper will be built within the Business Park EUROPARC EUR, in the area of Pacific Avenue, and will develop the 28 residential floors (the first three used as office) and 3 technical floors and 2 basement levels for garages and cellars. There will also be room for common use with the creation of a panoramic gym, laundry and meeting room.

The structure consists of two vertical prisms of concrete and steel, covered with granite floors and connected by two horizontal planes.
The draft says Purini, inspired by the medieval towers that characterize the historic center of Rome: “Rome had before domes, towers, skyscraper, and this takes the vertical presence, adding a modern communicative message of respect for the environment and saving energy. An approach to bring some ‘future in this. ”

Most importantly, stresses the CEO Luca Parsitalia Parnassus, is what “lies beneath the skin,” in terms of energy savings and sustainability.
The Tower Eurosky fact uses advanced technologies, some of which represent a first for the normal design criteria Italians.
Sula coverage will install photovoltaic panels with a power of 180KW, is expected to pneumatic waste collection, which will thus feed into a center where they will be turned into fuel pallets.
It will also install a trigeneration system for the production of heat, cold (with electric radiant floor) and electricity, with significant reduction of CO2 emissions, shall be provided for the recovery of rainwater, water saving health and the production of micro-filtered water.
Home automation in all apartments will improve comfort and safety of residents. The system is already wired for a burglar volumetric system connected to a centralized security service.

For the CEO of Parsitalia Real Estate, Luke Parnassus “create a building with these environmental and energy is a commitment to corporate social responsibility. In addition to using technology ever seen in Italy for energy and waste in a building, we want to give space for socializing, building a complex of structures that look out on a meeting place, a larger square of Piazza Navona.
