White unique House N by Sou Fujimoto
Housing for two people and a dog. The house itself consists of three shells, one inside another to increase in size progressively. The outermost fully covers housing facilities, creating a semi-enclosed garden or patio. The second defines spatiality and the smaller intermediate creates a more intimate interior. Residents living framed by these three different degrees.
Part of the proposal arises from the architect’s doubts about the lasting solution of a wall that separates the streets of the house, thinking of a gradual resolution of relationships and different feelings of distance from the outside. This house is located immediately a street and they create a gradual act immediately on the street, another close to the street and finally completely separate from it.
In this house grades and limits are variable, expressing the richness of what exists “between” a house and the street beyond the space or the form itself.
